Peter Coppin, Barbadian by birth, has been in the music business for over 10 years, and has already produced some of the biggest soca hits like Cock Back & Roll, By the Bar; hit classic Jump, Insomnia, & Thanks; Hypa Dog, Till Morning; Sugar Cane, Trinidad, and many more, including road marches in Barbados, Boston, New York, and Trinidad.

Peter's innovative rhythms and production aptitude has earned him a space as one of the most renowned soca producers in the World. Over the years he has produced for the likes of Rupee, Edwin Yearwood, Lil Rick, Allison Hinds, Kevin Lyttle, Machel Montano, Bunji Garlin, Naya George, ‘Sizzla’ Kalonji, Elephant Man, T.O.K, Lexxus, and Foxy Brown, just to name a few. In 2000, he earned Road March titles at carnivals in Boston, New York and Nottinghill with the popular track "Jump" performed by Atlantic recording artist Rupert “Rupee” Clarke.

His prolific career has seen him win over four (4) Road March and over three (3) Party Monarch titles in Barbados. He has won Road March titles in Trinidad with Naya George's hit single "Trinidad" and Grenadian Tallpree's 2003 hit "Rags."

In 2005 Peter Coppin produced the Spontaneous album and Monstapiece's compilation album "The Next Chapter" featuring the "Madness," "The Fast Ting" and the “Candy Shop" rhythms. With appearances by Jamaican deejay Vybz Kartel, Trinidadian soca artist Bunji Garlin and Barbados' Lil Rick, the rhythms are taking soca charts by storm.

In 2006, he launched his tenth album called Vol. X. The versatility and creativity of Peter Coppin was yet again expressed in this compilation, when he produced top Reggeton rhythm, soca with Spanish flavor, Chutney flavor, R&B flavor and much more, proving the many genres of soca music. This album also showcase Sizzla Kalonji’s first ever soca tune “Pop Style”; and Edwin Yearwood final competition song for Barbados’ Party Monarch Competition ‘Ready to Go’. Also tunes from Lil Rick and other artiste out of Barbados, Delly Ranks from Jamaica, Skinny Fabulous from St. Vincent and Bunji Garlin & Rocky from T&T are some of the tunes highlighted on this album.

This year Mr. Coppin is intended to blow away the airway and put soca on a whole new level with his album entitled “Return of the Monsta” which is due to be released July 6th. This album will feature top artiste such as Machel Montano, T.O.K, Beenie Man, Edwin Yearwood, Lil Rick, Mikey and much much more.
